What’s the whole story?
You may know me from my work in the music industry. I started a podcast called The Quinn Spinn back in 2013 in my childhood bedroom in New Jersey, which led me to launch a music blog in Bethlehem, PA called Lehigh Valley Underground in January 2016.
In 2018, that blog (and I) moved all the way to Nashville, rebranding to the multimedia and educational platform known as Underground Music Collective.
BUT… what if I told you that was only part of the story?
Storytelling has always been central to what I do. In 2010, I graduated from Moravian College (Bethlehem, PA) with a B.A. in English (and a minor in Graphic Design). I spent my early career as a freelance community journalist, before landing a job as the Digital Documentarian (re: internal communications) at the IBM Design Lab in New York City (2012-13).
This pivotal role helped me build a bridge between the worlds of journalism and marketing. In the years since, I’ve journeyed through a variety of industries – from non-profit media, to health insurance, to my current professional home in the music industry.
I have been a part of some incredible teams (and I’ve even led a couple!).
I’ve been an employee and a boss. I’ve been entry level, senior leadership, and everywhere in between.
No matter the role, my job description has required me to recall an important foundational principle.
Deliver the right message, to the right people, the right way.
Along the way, I’ve had some cool opportunities!

In my role as Founder/CEO of Underground Music Collective, I’ve had the beautiful opportunity to impact thousands of musicians, creatives, and industry stakeholders through multimedia content, live music experiences, brand consulting, mentorship, and community building.
I have spearheaded collaborations with local, national, and global brands, including previous and current partners like Universal Music Group, Red Bull, the Tennessee Titans, the Nashville Predators, NOLA MusiCon, Creative Artists Agency, Liberty Tax, ArtsQuest, Brandinc PR, and Redfin Real Estate. I (and UMC) have been featured by major media companies such as iHeartRadio, YouTube, MusicRow Magazine, and many more, and I have led workshops, seminars, and one-on-one mentor sessions at notable events, including SXSW (Austin, TX), Departure Conference & Festival (Toronto, ON), NOLA MusiCon (New Orleans, LA), Confluence Carolinas (Charlotte, NC), the Musikfest Industry Conference (Bethlehem, PA), Gussapolooza (Cookstown, ON), West Chester University (West Chester, PA), and more.
Where am I going next?
